BMW F9X M5s and M8s have been suffering from a poorly designed coolant tank fitted in the worst possible location: on top of the engine, next to the turbochargers. This location has caused massive heat soak and excessive component deterioration. Relocating this coolant tank is a major improvement to your engine's cooling system, resulting in lower engine coolant temperatures, freed-up space in the engine compartment, and better system reliability.
