ARP2000 Rod Bolts

• Ensure proper chamfer at the rod bolt hole to clear the under-head radius.

• Lubricate threads and under-head with ARP Ultra-Torque, then hand-tighten.

• Recommended method: Stretch bolts to .0065–.0070 in using a stretch gauge.

• Torque alternative: 50 ft-lbs with ARP Ultra-Torque.

• Rods must be re-sized after installation.

• Replace any bolt showing deformation or length increase over .001 in.

Custom Age 625+ Rod Bolts
