BMW F9X M5's and M8's have been suffering from a poorly designed coolant tank that has been fitted in the worst possible location, on top of the engine, next to the turbochargers. This caused massive heat soak, as well as excessive component deterioration. Relocating this coolant tank is a major improvement to your engine's cooling system, resulting in lower engine coolant temperatures, freed up space in the engine compartment, and better system reliability.
